We have Twelve (12) Zodiac Signs in the astrological wheel. Each of the twelve signs contains 30° - generally 0°-29° - for a total of 360°'s on any given astro chart. The first sign is Aries. The order of the signs on the wheel is as follow:

When working with Astrology it's important to learn to recognize symbols because each sign has it's own symbol. This helps with saving time and space when creating and reading the charts.

To get to know the signs and their symbols better and faster, practice. Start by writing a list of the twelve signs and then drawing the corresponding symbol beside it. There is a blank wheel attached to this lesson that you can use to print and practice writing the signs and their symbols.
